General information

Alexander Nazarov earned his PhD in 2002 and his DSc in 2013 while working at the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since 2024, he has been a leading researcher in the Multiphase Precision Technologies Laboratory at the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation. He is also the Acting Head of the Intelligent Systems in Thermophysics Department at Novosibirsk State University (NSU). He is a committee member of national and international conferences. He has authored over 220 papers, including 98 in peer-reviewed journals. His h-index for all publications on elibrary.ru is 17. He holds six invention patents. In addition to the current megagrant, he was the primary executor of the RSF projects “Comprehensive Research and Development of Methods for Controlling Heat Transfer and the Development of Crisis Phenomena under Spray and Microjet Cooling Conditions to Create Highly Efficient and Compact Thermal Stabilization Systems” (2025-2026); “Intensification of Heat Transfer during Boiling and Evaporation on Modified Surfaces of Various Types in Thin Layers of Dielectric Liquid” (2023-2025); and “Comprehensive Research and Development of Methods for Controlling Heat Transfer and the Development of Crisis Phenomena under Spray and Microjet Cooling Conditions to Create Highly Efficient and Compact Thermal Stabilization Systems” (2022-2024).
Currently, his research is focused on experimental studies of heat transfer during spray cooling of large surfaces.
