You are cordially invited to participate in the XXXV Siberian Thermophysical Seminar dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation Viktor Ivanovich Terekhov to be held on August 27 – 29, 2019.
The Siberian Thermophysical Seminar has been traditionally held at the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok since 1960. In 2019, the Seminar will be devoted to the 75th Anniversary of Viktor Ivanovich Terekhov, the prominent expert in the field of turbulent heat and mass transfer in complex conditions. Viktor I. Terekhov has obtained priority results in the study of transfer processes on permeable surfaces, in flows with phase and chemical transformations, and in separation and jet flows. His scientific activities are inextricably linked with the history of the Institute of Thermophysics, and his contribution to the development of thermophysical science is significant. The Organising Committee hopes that the XXXV Siberian Thermophysical Seminar will attract young scientists to solving urgent scientific problems, and that their visit to Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and the Institute of Thermophysics will add positive emotions and pleasant impressions.
